Four identical cabinets were created to display a client’s wide range of products. They are fabricated out of book-matched heavy figure maple plywood which was CNC routed using Solidworks and MasterCAM programs to ensure that each display look and function identically. These ”E-Bulb” prototypes were designed and fabricated to showcase their unique features and patented technology. A quantity of 30 identical bulbs were built in order to be sent off to both UL and Energy Star testing facilities. This chair is made of extrude polyethylene commonly used in pool noodles making it perfect for indoor and outdoor applications.
User experience is the focus of this recognized project. The device captures the excitement of popping corn while using many of the same components as the commodity product.
The speaker system uses a two walled composite speaker cabinet that eliminates the distortion caused by rectangular cabinets. The speaker also swivels to focus directional sounds towards the user.
